Check following: 1.the ability to change NLS settings is restricted. Ref: https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21427600 - Please login tothe web console - Open the dsadm user - Verify that the user has the SuiteAdmin role.
2. The credential mapping forthe user in question is incorrect. - Please logto IIS web console -> Administration -> Domain Management -> DataStage Credentials and ensure that the user is mapped toa credential user inthe main DataStage group
3. Check if dsadm user is in Administrator group.
4. The client and server are at different patch levels. - Please ensure that client is atthe same fixpack asthe server
5. The system was not installed with NLS - Please check the Version.xml file. Look for <Property name="DSServerNLSEnabled"value="true"/>
6. NLS was disabled, - Please check uvconfig file, located in: <IIS_install_dir>\Server\DSEngine -- Confirm the value of NLSMODE. This is set to 1 during installation of the DataStage Engine with the NLS Enabled option selected.
7. NLS was not installed - Please openthe job and go tothe Edit menu -> Job Properties and check if NLS tab is displayed. - ifnotthen NLS was not installed. There is no option to install it - software reinstall need to be made.
